This tool can help recover data from corrupt Access database files SysInfoTools MS Access Database Recovery v2.0 is a recovery tool for Access database files that have been corrupted. Access from Microsoft is quite a popular database, so it is widely used. Data file corruptions can happen for any number of reasons in the computer. Thus corruptions can mean a bad hold up as databases contain important data. Some recovery file that truly works could thus be a lifesaver. When you submit a file to the tool for recovery, it goes into a deep scan of the contents. Knowledge about the database file structures and error patterns helps the tool recover the data. It is still probability based and not 100% of the cases succeed. What matters is that it works for most cases. To make sure the user has a say in what is recovered, the data will be saved only when user accepts the recovered data to useful.
MDB and ACCDB files are handled easily by the tool. It restores all the data including BLOB, OLE and MEMO data from corrupt MDB or ACCDB database files. It is able to handle header corruption or misaligned header situation. The source file is not affected. It is read but never written into. Recovered data is saved into a fresh file. The user will be able to specify the location where the file needs to be saved. The interface is wizard driven. This is a very good tool and a good candidate for trying out.
